Cases, gigbags, setup of instrument...

 

Your new instrument need an appropriate care. Your new AV Guitar comes always in a hard shell case or a gigbag. I offer quality and luxurious gigbags iGIG or MONO or Šiba. Hard shell cases Shuster and Šiba are always made for particular instrument, for its shape including a pouch for keys and accesories with quality fixation of the instrument inside of the case.

My instruments are equipped with DR strings in gauges 0.018 up to 0.130.

Adjustment of instrument ...

All of my instruments are adjusted to the customer's own requirements. Some prefer to play with low action, some with higher. When adjusting the truss rod or the screws on the bridge of your bass, use only suitable good quality allen wrenches. Doing so you extend the life of the screws on your bass guitar.

If your bass has active electronics, it runs on a 9V battery. Every battery has a certain life span, so it is better to have an extra battery in reserve. Change the battery by unscrewing the plastic or wooden cover on the back of the instrument. Please be careful when changing the battery.

Every instrument needs care. If your bass has a lacquered finish, use a soft cloth for cleaning dirt and sweat. For cleaning the fretboard I recommend Warwick Bees Wax. This may be applied only with strings taken off. String cleaning oils from Gibson are good. You may use Warwick Bees Wax on basses with oil and wax finish. Avoid using furniture polish or similar.

Keep in mind that your instrument is made of wood - natural material.
